Where were we? Oh yes, when last I blogged, I was wondering what would happen next in the world of NFL DUIs. It didn’t take long to find out.
Tampa Bay cornerback Eric Wright was arrested earlier today, July 2nd, of felony DUI after he was involved in a personal injury accident. Mr. Wright admitted to drinking earlier in the evening, but refused field sobriety and breath testing. At last report, he was being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
Update: Friday the 13th turned out to be lucky for Eric Wright. The L.A. District Attorney announced that he would not be filing DUI charges against Wright and the matter will be dropped.
